What is Gairibas? Well, it’s a small village with very less hotel facilities and guest houses on the Nepal side. You can get an entry to Singalila National Park and India’s SSB camp on the right side where entry fee is required for the getting entry with the trek to park. Your final destination at Kalipokhri is reached 4km from Kaiyakatta.


Kalipokhri-Sandakphu: You haven’t felt like Zigzags throughout the way from along 4km up the hill, here it is, now you feel it and there is partition between two routes you can choose. The left one goes to Nepal which is the longer route and the second one is through steep ascent where trail considers it to the shortest route.


The Main attraction at Sandakphu: 180 degree Bird’s eye view of Himalayan peaks.

HAR KI DUN – A valley trek!


Har Ki Dun is one of the most awaited journeys to heavenly smiled valley under the Peak. You get access to enter the Himalayan range valley from Govind National Park. A myth of India says “No other valley is that steeped as this and this is considered as the Valley of Gods”. It is said that Pandavas of Dwaparyuga took this way to reach heaven via Swargarohini. Route: This is going to be 4 wheeler roads connecting to Taluka from Sankri. Trekkers’ travels this place for 1 hour and it’s only about 12km which can be easily hiked by. You see 300 years old houses, well architected. Residing for a break at forests guest house, the trails has to descend to the valley down to Supin. You can relax from the steep way as this is a level walk to valley. Again, cross a strong wooden bridge below Datmir Village.

An alternating way to Puani Garaat Camp:

  1. Camp at Osla have to cross wooden bridge
  2. Reaching Seema, One has to set their trail up to true right of the river to Seema.


Pauni Garaat to Kalkatiyadhar:

Where is Osla? – It is famous for Someshwar Temple which is situated of about 8,500ft. The curves of the temple are still the highlight for the people visiting there in rhythm.

You pass through borders of grass which feels your feet with soothing refreshment down to the Supin River. Destination is still ahead of us. Walking down the lane and not crossing the bridge clears our way to Har Ki Dun. There is long way a little struggles to beautiful a landscape, following steep way to it.

Har Ki Dun:

Dev Thach is clearly visible on the right, across the meeting of two rivers. Oh my my, it seems to be crossing almost 3000m altitude for the trekkers who has the first time in trekking. This valley says goodbye with Har Ki Dun on the left and Ruinsara Taal, Bali Pass on the right.

Start the journey:

Haridwar is the arrival to Lata and Lata is the beginning point to Kauri Pass. Ganga Mata enchants you during the whole journey.

Lata – Dhak:

Dhak is scattered around 11Km from Lata. He trek begins trekking from low to high. There you meet the villagers for village Tugasi, trails still laid out in the village.

Guiling – Khullara:

First Clearing is being reached by the trails all the ascending in a steep way. Trail still leads the forests. You cross the small streams in the trial.
